Customer’s SharePoint Centre of Excellence (“SPCoE”) wanted to upgrade from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016 and replace the current forms and workflow product Nintex with K2 Blackpearl. STG was awarded this digital process automation migration project.

Our Solution
STG’s scope of work includes:
- Migrate Site Collections from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016
- Rewrite the Nintex Forms and workflows in K2 and perform content migration to SharePoint 2016
STG approached this project by providing the following services:
- Develop and maintain a detailed migration plan, identifying site collections to be migrated in weekly “batches”.
- Set up and facilitate meetings with business users to gather the information required to migrate the site collections; Work closely with the customer project lead and users to gather requirements and coordinate priorities
- Analyze existing site collections and develop functional and technical design
- Rebuild forms and workflows in K2
- Perform data migration using ShareGate tool
- Perform integration testing, conduct user acceptance testing
- Perform production migration and deployment activities
Result
STG completed the following migration activities successfully on-time with high quality:
- Migrated 1500+ site collections to SharePoint 2016
- Redeveloped 250+ SharePoint Applications forms and workflows in K2, tested and deployed in production
